Right of withdrawal

Step 1
Contact our aftersales team in writing via email at aftersales@mapfour.com. Please attach your original proof of purchase to the email and tell us about the condition of the vehicle.
Step 2
Our aftersales team will contact you and tell you where the goods need to be returned.
Step 3
You send the bicycle back to the specified address.
Step 4
Upon receipt, we will inspect the bicycle. If it is in perfect/new condition, we will issue a credit note or refund for you immediately after the inspection. If there are any discrepancies in the condition, we will contact you to inform you of any lawful reduction in the refund amount and then process the payment.
Conditions
We offer an extended right of withdrawal of 30 days. The legal requirement for distance sales is 14 days, unless an exception applies.
The withdrawal must be sent within 30 days of receiving the goods, in written form to aftersales@mapfour.com. Items that are sent back without prior consultation may be shipped again to the Customer without consultation, and the costs for the transport may be charged, only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law.
The goods as well as the cardboard should be returned in new condition where possible. However, the consumer remains entitled to inspect and test the goods only to the extent necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, as would normally be permitted in a shop.
For a bicycle, a maximum mileage of 10 kilometers and no visible signs of use is required for a full refund under Mapfour's extended 30-day return policy, unless mandatory statutory withdrawal rules provide otherwise.
The buyer is responsible for the packaging and return shipping if this was communicated before purchase and unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. If the goods show handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, we reserve the right to deduct a lawful value adjustment from the refund.
The original delivery contents must be complete (charger, pedals, etc.). Missing items may lead to a lawful reduction in the refund. We strongly advise using only the original packaging for returns. In the event of inadequate packaging, the sender bears the risk and liability for any damage, to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law.
MapFour may exercise its statutory right of retention; a full refund will be issued once the return of the goods has been received or the consumer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, in accordance with mandatory consumer law.
