Shipping Fees and Coverage
We currently offer free shipping within mainland Germany and mainland France only.
Shipping to other regions is not covered under this policy.
Processing and Delivery Times
The conditions and specifications of the carrier apply.
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.
Standard delivery time is 5-10 business days, excluding pre-order items.
For pre-orders, the estimated shipping date will be indicated on the product page or otherwise communicated before purchase.
Shipping Notifications and Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email containing tracking information.
Please note that tracking updates may be delayed until the carrier scans the package into their system. Estimated delivery times shown on the carrier's website will only be accurate after this scan.
If you do not receive your tracking email or have questions regarding your shipment, please contact us at aftersales@mapfour.com.
Partial deliveries
Partial deliveries are not possible. If we are short of the goods you ordered, we will contact you before shipping to clarify whether we should send the available parts or not.
Order Cancellations
After shipment: Once an order has shipped, any modifications (e.g., model or color changes, address changes, or cancellations) may incur additional fees and may delay delivery, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
Orders that have already shipped cannot always be intercepted free of charge.
If you cancel an order after shipment and exercise your statutory or extended right of withdrawal, the refund and return-cost rules stated in the Right of Withdrawal and B2C General Terms and Conditions apply.
In the event of a refusal of a delivery, the costs incurred for Mapfour may be charged accordingly only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law. MapFour has to be informed about it in writing.
Recommendations for Receiving Your Delivery
We strongly advise you to inspect your goods immediately upon receipt.
Please note that failure to inspect the goods immediately does not affect your statutory consumer rights. However, late reporting may make carrier-claim handling more difficult.
If damage is visible from the outside: We recommend refusing the delivery and informing the MapFour Team via email (aftersales@mapfour.com) immediately. We will then arrange for a replacement delivery as quickly as possible, where appropriate.
If the damage is hidden (not visible from the outside): We suggest contacting the MapFour Team in writing as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of receipt. To help us process the case, please include the following in your email:
Photos of the tracking label.
Photos of the damaged shipping box.
Photos of the damage to the item itself.
A copy of the invoice.
Note: Please retain all items and original packaging until the claim is processed, where reasonably possible. Disposing of them prematurely may make carrier-claim handling more difficult, but does not affect mandatory statutory consumer rights.
Non-Delivery & Special Instructions
Non-Delivery: If your tracking status shows "delivered" but you have not received the item, we recommend providing a sworn declaration of non-receipt. Once we receive this document, we are committed to providing a timely replacement or a full refund if the item is out of stock, where appropriate.
Delivery Release Authorization: Please note that if a "drop-off authorization" is in place and the carrier records the shipment as delivered under that authorization, the case will be reviewed according to the carrier's documentation and mandatory consumer law. Risk passes to the consumer only when the consumer or a third party indicated by the consumer, other than the carrier, has acquired physical possession of the goods, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Returns and Liability
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for withdrawal returns only if this was communicated before purchase and unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Return shipping fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for returns. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.
In the event of a failed delivery, carriers may redirect the package to a local holding facility. Packages are typically held for up to 10 days. If unclaimed, they will be returned to MAPFOUR.
If a package is returned, customers must notify MAPFOUR in writing (aftersales@mapfour.com). Reshipping costs may be charged only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law.
