Care Instructions
The following are the maintenance instructions for the various bicycle components.
Staggered from short intervals to long intervals.
This is based on a road vehicle in average use. Please note that intervals can be significantly shorter depending on usage (e.g., mud riding/racing/mountain biking).
We particularly recommend having the annual inspection carried out by trained specialists.
The dealers listed on our service map will be happy to assist you with this.

Before the first ride/ after installation:
Check the torque of the screws on the bike.
Check the seat of the brake caliper and align it if necessary.
Check the pressure on the Tires.
After each ride/ before the Next ride:
Visual inspection of the complete bicycle including:
Cracked/defective tires must be replaced.
Check brake pads and cables for damage/wear and replace them if necessary.
Clean the drivetrain and re-lubricate it if needed, using only bicycle chain lube (for chain-driven vehicles; this is not necessary for waxed chains).
Never use motorcycle chain spray or WD40.
Check if the light is working/ the batteries.
In addition:

Once a Year
Check spoke tension and tighten if necessary.
Check the free movement/free play of all bearings (steering head bearings, pivot bearings, wheel bearings, linkage bearings).
If no fault is found, grease them. Replace them if they are defective.
We recommend an annual suspension service for suspension forks and shock absorbers. Depending on the manufacturer of the spring elements, clear timeframes are set, which can be found in the instructions of the brands and must be adhered to.
Big brake service for hydraulic brakes (change of the oil/ hydraulic liquid)
Check the drivetrain for wear and replace if necessary. Adjust the derailleur if present.
Check the frame and wheels for cracks and damage. If you find any, contact the seller of your bicycle and do not continue to use it in damaged conditions.
